We must be organized. We must stay together. What happens to one of us effects all of us.
Organizations are on the ground fighting and preparing for these next four years.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
Reproductive Rights
Women rights are human rights. Our campaign values women. It's essential for economic prosperity. Societies that value women and men as equal are safer and healthier better for everyone when women's rights are upheld and taken seriously.
Ce-Ce will:
-
Continue to stand with organizations on the front lines of the fight for reproductive justice.
-
Stand against any constitutional amendments
-
Continue to introduce legislation to combat or mitigate statewide actions
Development
Development should benefit the people, not just developers and a handful of well-connected people. Every neighborhood should have access to quality affordable housing, grocery stores, recreational and educational opportunities.
Ce-Ce will continue to:
-
Advocate for Community Benefit Agreements so that residents can demand specific benefits from major development projects in their neighborhood
-
Fight for Community Needs Assessments which requires developers to meet with residents to determine how their proposed projects will benefit the people
-
Support an Inclusionary Zoning Ordinance, which requires that workforce units are built as developers build luxury housing units.
